HESSI NRH Software





General
     Some tools of the NRH software have been adapted to run on HESSI data.
           This software is available from the NRH tree of Solar Soft
          To use:
                1 - load the nrh software from Solar Soft
                2 - Run SSWIDL
                        Enter HESSI_NRH

           This procedure is a GUI to access all the facilities
                Image analysis (Tv, Contours, Profile, Pixels coordinates, ...)
                Display many images in the same window
                Movie from images in the FITS file
                Source Tracking (spatial and temporal evolution of different emitting components)
                Superposition of data from various instruments and results of Sources tracking or pixels coordonates
                Projection of images on one direction and time evolution

Simulation
        This software can be tested with simulated HESSI images written in NRH file format
        For this:
              1 - Make HESSI fits image files using HESSI software , or NRH_HSI_IMAGE (from the NRH software). The NRH_HSI_IMAGE procedure generates a serie of HESSI fits files with two flares and a motion betewen succesives images (method Back Projection or Clean.)
              2 - Convert these files in a NRH fits file, running NRH_HSI_FITS (from the NRH software).
              3 - Run HESSI_NRH (the GUI interface) to analyse the serie of images in NRH format file
        Example:
                    NRH_HSI_IMAGE    ;to create simulated images by Back Projection method, or /CLEAN
                    
List = FINDFILE('hsi*is.fts')   ;get the list of the files created  
           
        NRH_HSI_FITS                    ; convert in a multi_images file
                    HESSI_NRH                          ;to have the widget interface for images analyze  

File format
         A complete description of file formats is given on the document about NRH file format
        File name for HESSI is
